## What is a Bacs approved bureau?

A Bacs approved bureau is an organisation approved by Pay.UK to submit Bacs payment files on behalf of other businesses. You keep your own Service User Number and control of your payments; the bureau handles the submission.

Interbacs' bureau processes Direct Debits, Bacs payments and Bacs Direct Credits for businesses of every size. We submit through our own Bacs approved software, InterPay, with specialist oversight for compliance, so you avoid the administration and running costs of doing it in-house.

What does a Bacs approved bureau do?

Do we need our own Service User Number to use a bureau?
