In The Spotlight – ATOS WORDLINE
In this months ‘In the spotlight’ article, we spoke to Keith Havelock, VOSA Service Management & MOT FEE Collections Manager at ATOS Worldline (VOSA); they were one of the earlier customers at Interbacs, and currently use our InterPay Software.
In 2005 the Government (VOSA) computerised the MOT testing system for all vehicles, Keith and his team process all orders and payments for all the testing stations in the UK performing MOT’s, currently there are over 21000 garages in the scheme. Payments are made by credit/debit card, cheque/postal order or through a Direct Debit scheme to prefund their accounts which they maintain at present for approximately 5500 garages.
They perform two collections each month so garages have a choice when they set up their Direct Debit for either the 5th or the 20th to make their payments.

ATOS Worldline (VOSA) are one of the earlier customers of Interbacs, and we have held a business relationship with them since 2005. “It has been a great working relationship throughout” Keith told me, “No matter what problems or queries we have encountered there has always been someone available to assist or resolve all issue”.
VOSA began using our Direct Debit Management Software (DDMS) in 2005 alongside using Bottomline’s Microbank Software to send files to Bacs, this lasted until 2013 when they decided to migrate over to our Bacs Approved InterPay software. “The InterPay software is perfectly tailored to cover all our requirements” Keith said, “It is a very user friendly interface which all staff have found easy to learn and adapt to”.
“For such a complex piece of software it is
exceptionally quick and it doesn’t interfere at all
with system resources”.
I asked Keith about the service that we run at Interbacs, He said, “I would definitely recommend Interbacs to any company mainly due to the reliability and tremendous support which we have received over the years, no matter what problem, query or advice we can always rely on someone willing to assist”.
Keith Continued, “On rare occasions where we have had major problems the help and support we received was exceptional and in one instance they worked with us until late evening until a resolution was found and we were able to fulfil our deadline obligations”.
